At HowLite our founders are millennials, it is at the forefront of our business to be as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible. We have been very particular about who we do business with to ensure a brighter future for everyone, we believe in being a responsible partner to the people, business and communities we work with.

Did you know that even a simple google search contributes to Global Warming? Google says it spends about 0.0003 kWh of energy on an average search query, translating to roughly 0.2g of carbon dioxide. We are conscious that though we are an online company that even searching for us on Google produces CO2. To help combat this we teamed up with Green Forest Design for all our web design and marketing needs. For every website that they design one tree is planted! As well as this they are committed to using renewable energy to power all their servers.

Our offices contain environmentally friendly soaps and washing liquids, we have no disposables in the office, the excess water from the sinks is used to flush the toilets and we are part of a recycling and reusing office scheme!

Our syringes are all recyclable, we are working hard and investing with our supplier to develop a new type of syringe that will be biodegradable. We will keep you updated on our progress!

All of our packaging is sourced in the U.K., this is to support local business and to reduce the carbon footprint of our materials. Our packaging is made from 90% recycled materials and is itself 99% recyclable even when put in your standard domestic paper bin.

Our partners at DPD Local are a leading provider of parcel delivery services. They have a proven commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility; through their DrivingChange™ initiative they make environmental management a key priority for them. Year on year DPD Local updates their fleet of vehicles switching out their older less fuel inefficient vehicles for lighter electrically powered vans.
